The past couple of years has shown me that each of us are responsible for the changes we want to see, and it starts at the local level. I believe that it’s my civic duty to run for Regional Chair to affect that change - I want to provide a new option to the people of Waterloo Region, an alternative to the status quo.
I want to be the choice for change: to inspire everyone to get involved as they can - anyone can make a difference, but we must come together as a community to do it.
My goal isn’t to drum up a media storm, it’s not to defeat my political adversaries, it’s simply to encourage the community to get involved, and to provide a voice to those who may be discouraged from speaking up.
