Develop our school zones and structures to increase the space available for additional classrooms to minimize the child-teacher ratio and reduce the reliance on external “portables”
Work with schoolboards to upgrade playgrounds to promote active lifestyles for our children and youth
Provide better, more affordable access to public transit for post-secondary students, and encourage participation in local politics on campus
Class sizes need to decrease, which means we need more space for more classrooms. Improving our school facilities and quality of life for children and youth will attract more families and more educators to our region.
