Engage hospitals in discussing the addition of mental health & addiction focused facilities
Our medical systems are failing across Canada, largely due to burnout from the pandemic that is driving healthcare workers away, creating longer wait times and poor patient care. There are droves of healthcare workers who are unable to access work in their provinces due to pandemic restrictions - attracting those healthcare workers to our region will enhance our healthcare capacity, improve our economy, and increase the quality of life in our community.
